Assembling the Collapsible Christmas Tree

Following on from our previous post in which we signed off to get started on designing our next knitting pattern, we're delighted to be able to announce the launch of our brand new Collapsible Christmas Tree Knitting Pattern, available right now for purchase as a Kindle Edition from the Amazon UK website.

The Collapsible Christmas Tree is our miniature take on a traditionally-sized artificial tree, and just like its name suggests, can be put together and taken apart for easy storage in a mere matter of minutes (although unlike a regular tree, its size means that you shouldn't have to make space for it in your loft or garage for the remaining eleven months of the year!).

Standing at a diminutive 38cm in height when fully assembled (including the star), the design for this tiny tree features much of the detail you might expect to see on a real tree, including branches textured to resemble those of a fir tree, the aforementioned star on top and of course an array of baubles, the knitting of which is ideal for using up those tiny but lovely little oddments of yarn we all hate to waste.

The pictures to the right of this page show how the components of the Collapsible Christmas Tree fit together so easily, the only difficulty you'll have is deciding which colour of bauble to hang from which branch.

With three months to go to the big day, there's still plenty of time to make your own knitted tree, so if you'd like to give it a go, then please head on over to our Patterns to Buy page, from where you can click on through to the pattern's dedicated page on the Amazon UK website.

Happy knitting (and a very Merry Christmas!) to you all,

Clare
