Knitted Rose Motifs

We're delighted to be able to announce the release of our latest pattern, Knits of the Roses, available now as a Kindle Edition e-book from the Amazon UK website.

If you've an affection for all things Yorkshire or Lancashire, this pattern contains all the detail you'll need to make your very own rose in the style of the famous emblems originally devised in the 15th century to represent the rival Houses of York and Lancaster during the Wars of the Roses. The two roses are still in use today to represent the proud counties of Yorkshire and Lancashire, however thankfully today's rivalries are of the more friendly sporting variety!

The motifs are ideal to wear as a pin-on accessory, or can be stitched to items such as bags, scarves, gloves etc. As another option, we've also included in this collection a pattern for a Cable Knit Hairband and Wristband, to which the roses can easily be sewn.

If you'd like to take a closer look at this new title, you'll find more details on our Patterns to Buy page from where you can click on through to its dedicated page on the Amazon UK website.

Happy knitting!
