Knitted Christmas Crackers

Okay, okay, we didn't want to be the ones to raise the subject of Christmas a mere four months before the event, but we knitters all know that if you're planning on making anything knitted for the big day, it's always best to get an early start on your Christmas crafting.

To this end, we're delighted to announce the launch of our brand new Reusable Christmas Cracker knitting pattern, available right now as a Kindle Edition e-book from the Amazon UK website.

Based around a simple tube shape that's plugged at its ends by two frilled stoppers, the knitted Christmas Cracker can be filled, assembled and pulled as many times as you like, meaning that unlike traditional crackers, there's no piles of papery waste and unwanted plastic novelties to clear away afterwards (although you will have to say 'bang!' if you want a sound effect when you pull it).

If you'd like to have a go at knitting your own set of Reusable Christmas Crackers, there's more to see on our Patterns to Buy page from where you can click on through to the pattern's dedicated page on the Amazon UK website.

Happy knitting - and Merry Christmas everyone! (Even if it is a bit early.)
