Much as we don't like to admit it, there's always a warm spell in any British summer when even the toughest knitters here at Team Scope-Farrell have to put aside their favourite chunky knits for a short while. And right now, with the temperatures pushing thirty once again, looks like being exactly that time.

So what's a knitter to do when the hot weather's got their cardies confined to the cupboard and the woollies to the wardrobe?

Well if this is your problem, then worry not, for we've got the answer right here with the update and re-issue of our Bags of Flower Knitting Pattern. Formerly available as a printed pattern booklet, we're delighted to announce that this much-loved collection of floral bag and purse patterns is making its welcome (and quite timely, as it turns out!) return as a Kindle Edition e-book, and is available for purchase right now via the Amazon UK website.

If you're not already familiar with this collection - which is created using acrylic yarn and best suited to knitters with intermediate to advanced knitting skills - Bags of Flower contains all the detail you'll need to knit two different types of novelty bag - a Flower Basket Handbag and Mini Flower Basket Bag as well as a handy Coin Purse that can be decorated with your choice from any one of four different types of flower - self-raising, plain, wholemeal... no, sorry, just joking, it's: Daisy, Lily, Primrose and Sunflower.

A great way to show off your knitting skills - even in a heatwave - this is a project sure to keep you busy throughout the summer and beyond - because with only four months left to go to the biggest day in every crafter's calendar, these flowery favourites also make great Christmas gifts for friends and family alike!

Want to read more about this title? Check out our Patterns to Buy page, from where you can click on through to its dedicated page on the Amazon UK website.

So whatever's on your knitting needles this summer, have a great time, stay cool and we'll hope to see you back here before long!

Happy knitting!

Clare
